ABOUT THE ROLE

The Financial Analyst for Entegral is responsible for creating and maintaining financial reporting, processes and procedures relevant for software as a service (SAAS) organizations. This role serves as the primary point of contact, working closely with Parent Accounting to ensure financials are accurate and stated to meet business needs. The Financial Analyst also provides insights and influences the development of a pricing strategy and how Entegral drives revenue.

Responsibilities:
Work with leadership to develop a pricing strategy for Entegral's products

Develop methods for calculation and reporting of financial metrics for various departments and teams, determining and evolving data source strategy to meet the needs of the business

Serve as the primary contact and work closely with Parent Accounting on all core Accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and proper coding to align with needs for SAAS business financials

Research variances between forecast and actual and provide explanations on a quarterly basis; Submit Projection

Adjustments as needed to Parent Accounting

Provide guidance to internal leadership and Parent Accounting in the preparation of annual forecasts

Review and provide guidance on invoicing procedures, working with Parent Accounting, to ensure correct cost coding, allocations, and timely payment

Track all ancillary spending including T&E, Days of Development, Corporate Training, and Employee Engagement

Review all AR and bad debt and provide recommendations for improvement

Work closely with UK accounting team; review and provide guidance to improve financials

Consolidate UK and US financial reporting and develop one single Entegral View for the business

Manage organization structure within internal LRD application

Review annual and intermediate division budget periodically to analyze trends affecting division budget needs

Identify and provide recommendations on opportunities for cost savings

Create costs analyses and provide results to assist senior management with decision making or other financial initiatives

Evaluate and make appropriate improvements to internal accounting processes ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization

Lead the development of contract management and vendor administration processes; create efficiencies and reporting to provide better insights and ability to review all contracts and vendors across Entegral; Manage tools to support ongoing contract management

Play an active role in review of contracts and vendors from a financial perspective to ensure optimal financial decisions are made and to ensure proper billing

Create financial presentations for Executive Leadership Team and present current financial topics to Entegral leadership and broader community

Continually monitor tax issues and laws impacting SAAS and coordinate with the tax department to ensure proper compliance

Identify improper accounting or documentation, research issues and make recommendations to improve policies or procedures accordingly

Serve as the contact for providing assistance and answering questions of external auditors as needed

Qualifications:
Required:

Must be minimum 18 years of age

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting

4 or more years experience in Accounting including:Budget related work (budget and cost analyses)

Financial Statement preparation

Reviewing accounts receivable and bad debt

Contract Management

Tax laws and compliance

Intermediate Excel proficiency

Preferred:

Experience working in Accounting or Finance for a SaaS company

Google Suite Experience (Data Studio, Google Sheets)

Experience with PeopleSoft financials
