The Supervising Behavioral Health Clinician provides clinical supervision, clinical training, and professional development to mental health providers from all divisions of the Behavioral Health Services (BHS) Department. The Supervising BH Clinician supports both group and individual supervision for providers who are early-career professionals, at both the doctoral and masters-level, which includes pre-licensed, newly licensed, and graduate-level interns and externs. This newly developed position reports to the Associate Director of Training & Development, and, as part of the Training & Development (T&D) team, supports the professional development needs and clinical enrichment of the larger BHS department through coordinated clinical training, consultation groups, large group training, or smaller focused continuing education opportunities. The focus of the Supervising BH Clinician is on providing clinical training and education to internal HBH staff and graduate-level trainees. Additional duties will include planning and providing training to external psychologists and psychotherapists through revenue-generating Continuing Education (CE) training and ongoing paid consultation groups for community clinicians. Finally, Supervising BH Clinicians will provide therapy services to established Howard Brown clients. Services provided will follow professional standards and ethical guidelines.
