Our growing portfolio of business applications leverage the power and scale of AWS services to remove the undifferentiated heavy lifting that business users go through daily. As part of our team, you will play a key role in defining and developing the next generation of applications that will be used by millions of people every day.
We are looking for passionate and talented Software Development Engineers to join us to innovate on behalf of customers. As a developer in our team you will be working on the design and development of services from the ground up. You ll have a sound understanding of computer science fundamentals and practical industry experience, working across the stack with technology involving modern web, SOA, NoSQL databases, AI, ML, Big Data, and more.

Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- 2+ years of programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design and contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
- Sharp analytical abilities, proven design skills and a track record of delivery.
- Communication skills for both a technical and business audience.
- Academic and/or industry experience with one of more of the following domains: machine learning, large-scale distributed systems and linear optimization techniques
- Experience with designing and building large-scale systems in a multi-tiered, distributed environment using micro services architecture
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Hands-on expertise in many disparate technologies, typically ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between
