THE ROLE AND ENVIRONMENT:

The Mechanical Engineering role at Tobar Industries is very hands-on. As a Mechanical Engineer you will be an essential part of the Engineering department by providing a number of functions. Therefore, a positive, can-do attitude is key. We prefer someone who is self-motivated to take ownership and responsibility over their work. This is a relatively easy-going, casual environment and our people are friendly. Great communication skills are important as you’ll be interacting with the whole company. If you’ve got a “roll-up your sleeves” attitude, we want to hear from you!

WHAT YOU’LL LOVE DOING:

• Design mechanical devices


• Creating blueprints for devices, and oversee the manufacturing process


• Sheet metal fabrication capable of reading and analyzing engineering drawing


• Know and understand the sheet metal fabrication


• Design fixtures to reduce manufacturing times and errors


• Modify design for manufacturing

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• EDUCATION: B.S. in Engineering or related field, M.S./M.B.A in Engineering or related is a plus.


• EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years of sheet metal engineering experience,


• LANGUAGE: English proficiency required


• Strong analytical skills


• Excellent communication and collaborative skills


• Strong knowledge of manufacturing process


• Must be fluent in Solidworks,


• Meitrack is a plus


• Microsoft Office (Team, Word & Excel)
