Software Developer

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled full stack software developer with a proven track record of building multi-tiered SOA based software applications and websites. Candidate should have experience in high performance multi-tiered environment. You will be asked to show a strong sense of ownership, agility, and creativity.

Core Responsibilities

• Write, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications which includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the production life cycle.
• The developer will also analyze and amend software errors in a timely and accurate fashion and provide status reports where required.
• Support other client/server and web-based systems, third party vendor interfaces, off-the-shelf enterprise software, and other custom developed
• Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
• Provide issue escalation and resolution as well as timely execution of deadlines.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or 10 years of related experience.
• 8 years of experience with application design, implementation, maintenance, diagnosing/correcting issues, managing security vulnerabilities, and maintaining compliance with industry security standards under minimal direction.
• 7 years of full-stack software development experience, with strong skills in the following: C#/.NET, ASP.Net, .Net Core, LINQ, SQL, REST, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular.
• Should be very fluent in JavaScript and front-end frameworks.
• 5 years of transact SQL experience writing complex stored procedures, triggers, views etc.
• Knowledge and passion for Agile development practices, including continuous integration, test-driven development etc.
• Solid understanding of web application development processes, from the layout/user interface to relational database structures.
• Should have good knowledge of Microsoft TFS, MS Access.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly.
• Ability to manage multiple large and complex projects in consultation with business and development team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD practices for testing and deploying changes to production.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is a big plus.
• Prior knowledge in converting legacy applications to web based solution.
• Experience in create MS SSRS and MS SSIS is a big plus.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position can be exposed to moderate noise levels.
