Overview:
The Event Marketing Specialist will play a key role in supporting the G3 Communications marketing team to produce fast-growing events–including the B2B Marketing Exchange (B2BMX), B2B Sales & Marketing Exchange (B2BSMX), and Retail Innovation Conference & Expo (RICE)—as well as online experiences, virtual forums, webcast series and regional events–across a number of brands and channels. The ideal candidate will work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize various projects and responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
Online and In-Person Event Planning, Production, Promotion and Reporting including: Produce and publish digital events for multiple brands, clients and team membersManage calendars, schedule and facilitate rehearsals, walkthroughs, recordings, airingsBuild timelines for, collect and organize all materials from speakers and sponsorsCommunicate directly with clients to share and receive promotion & production itemsMonitor/Respond to all sponsor and attendee inquiries via email, phone and chatCreate and update digital events including webcasts (ON24 or similar platform), virtual roundtables (Zoom or similar platform) and virtual conferences (Grip, Swapcard, or similar platform)Compile, maintain and share event analytics using various platforms to measure successDevelop training and promotional materials for sponsors, speakers and event attendeesCreate, edit, and combine branded PowerPoint slide decksFormat, organize and upload slides and resources to online and hybrid event platformsReport on registrants, attendees and engagement (ON24, Zoom, Grip, Swapcard, Marketo and other platforms may be utilized)Upload session videos to hosting and event platforms (YouTube, Swapcard, Grip, etc.)Compile and share lead reports using marketing automation, Excel and Google SheetsCreate relevant social posts and schedule across channels for multiple brands

Qualifications:
Familiarity with basic B2B marketing concepts, including content marketing concepts and best practices and demand generation techniques and terminologyImpeccable organizational skills with strong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsOutstanding ability to communicate with clients in an organized and professional mannerEmail copywriting skills, Social copywriting skills and familiarity with major social platformsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple, projects and simultaneous eventsComfortable working remotely and independently as well as in a shared-space environmentVersatility – the ability to step up and take responsibility for a variety of tasks in an environment where every team member wears multiple hatsProficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word), One Drive, and Google SheetsAdvanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel preferredExperience with, or the proven ability to learn, webinar and online event production, marketing automation platforms and other software/services as requiredExperience with ON24, Swapcard, Zoom, Marketo, Buffer, Hootsuite, Wufoo and/or digital event marketing and management are a major plusTwitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Buffer, and Hootsuite expertise preferred To support our commitment to provide a healthy and safe work environment we require all of our team members to have received the COVID-19 vaccine.
