Thisrole is remote based, but travel to a Siemens location may be required tocollaborate team members.

This is a role well suited to an ambitiousprofessional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Buyer/Planner,you will be responsible for:

  • Plan both short- and long-term to align supply and demand to support inventory needs.
  • Act as the liaison between internal stakeholders (Demand Planning, Procurement, MFE) and OEM suppliers to review purchase forecasts, proposed orders, and other operational issues.
  • Creation & submission of Purchase Orders to assigned suppliers on a timely basis
  • Monitor monthly, quarterly and campaigned Purchase production plans, prioritizing work orders, monitor for delays, take proactive measures.
  • Communicate with internal stake holders order schedules, confirmations & risk of delays.
  • Assures goods are received correctly from suppliers.
  • Collaborate with various transportation and warehouse/receiving personal to resolve discrepancies.
  • Process drop ship order information as needed to execute accordingly.
  • Submit regulatory compliance documents as needed.
  • Responsible for procurement roles in the Part Set up Process in SAP.
  • Manage all daily supplier operational topics: provide information for supplier reviews, maintain supplier information in SAP & handle invoice discrepancies

  • Understanding of manufacturing planning and control, MRP and materials flow in SAP or similar ERP environment
  • High proficiency with MS Office applications, with strengths in Excel, Power BI and/or Qlik reporting platforms
  • Critical thinking & negotiating skills
  • Strong communication, and presentation skills

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • BS / BA with a concentration in Business, Supply Chain/ Manufacturing or related degree required
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Buyer
  • Understanding of ERPs (SAP) data structure, MRP process and data flows.
  • Willing to travel up to 5-10%

The pay range for this position is $71,952.00 -$98,934.00 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending onjob-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The annual incentive targetis (6%) of base pay. SiemensHealthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paidtime off and holiday pay.
