PRECISIONeffect, a Precision Value & Health team, is hiring an Associate Director - Media to hold a key leadership role for the overall growth and management of the Media department.



About You:



In this multi-faceted role, you will work with the team to develop and deliver innovative, timely and valuable strategic and tactical programs to clients while also having the opportunity to mentor others, participate in new business, and build department-level growth plans.



  • As a mentor, you will ensure team members understand responsibilities and see clear path forward, providing learning opportunities and encouraging others to step outside of their comfort zone

  • As a cross-functional manager, you will also ensure standardization across accounts to provide for seamless inter-agency process as well as maintain ongoing communications with cross-office counterparts/colleagues

  • As a new business advisor, you will participate actively on business development initiatives, representing the Media department as well as continuously striving to hone and perfect presentation style and agency responses

  • As a client lead, you will oversee and maintain client relationships while leading internal teams to successful presentations, plans, and overall positive experiences with external stakeholders


Day-to-Day Responsibilities:



  • A leader on the media team – responsible for media strategy, planning and buying across PRECISIONeffect.

  • Manages the media team and acts as main review and sounding board for all media strategy and plans.

  • Oversees all media strategy- plans and buys. Able and willing to step in and assist media teams on client calls and has overall final say in every presentation.

  • Maintains relationships with media vendors. Proactively identifies opportunities for clients. Inputs media vendors on campaign needs and budgets. Reviews vendor provided media plans for innovation, consistency with creative briefs, and budget prior to account team and client review.

  • Works with all departments: Account, Planning, Strategy, Operations and Creative to ensure media tactics reflect best practices and venue requirements.

  • Manages junior members of the team including Media Strategists, reviews agency billing, IOs, timelines, and POVs

  • Responsible for day-to-day Account and client conversations around active media campaigns


Required Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree

  • 6-8 years of experience in media planning or buying with at least 3 years in healthcare or pharmaceutical. Shown an increase in overall responsibility and growth within a media department.


Helpful Experience:



  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Knowledge and use of media platforms such as SRDS, Kantar, Nielson, etc.

  • Experience working with digital and 3rd party platforms

  • Presentation skills are a must

This compensation range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Precision, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, health insurance, retirement savings benefits, life insurance and disability benefits, parental leave, and paid time off for sick leave and vacation, among other benefits.

$95,000—$137,000 USD
