Seeking experienced inpatient OR outpatient coders with multi-specialty coding experience. Someone with Cardiovascular, Gastrointestinal & Surgery experience would be ideal, but not required. Expected to correct editing charges and make corrections from the system. Will code a majority of physician visits and surgeries.
Eligible candidates must reside in the following states: Florida, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Arizona
- Experience: 1 year minimum of coding inpatient or outpatient, multi specialties (2+) and surgery/procedure coding knowledge
- Type of coding: Inpatient OR Outpatient (Physician Side)
- Contract-Hire: 800 hours (21) weeks, eligible to convert to a direct employee after the contract period
- Certifications: CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA
- Education: High School Diploma
- Hours: start time as early as 6am and as late at 8:30am
- Systems: Epic and Optum
- Metrics: Based on which service line the coder is working
