My client, a global pharmaceutical exipient manufacturer is seeking a Global Purhcasing Manager to support their sites internationally A Day in the Role... Drive strategic purchasing decisions and ensure Security of Supply targets are realized across the global footprint of the company. Negotiate and monitor major supply and service contracts. Identify vendor cost savings opportunities and support strategic sourcing initiatives. Drive a culture of thoughtful decision-making regarding purchases. Logistics oversight for SPI including carrier coordination and contract oversight. Provide oversight to site maintenance and management of the Vendor Master File. Required Experience: Bachelor's degree, MBA a plus 8+ years progressive experience in a manufacturing environment Experience in pharmaceutical industry is a plus Nice to have FDA Excellent communication and organizational skills Domestic and international travel required about 10-20%.
