Position Overview
The Mechanical Engineer is a key member of the Liquibox Engineering Team and reports to the Engineering Manager. This position will focus on project-based tasks, equipment support, and product development.

Experience & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Experience: 0-3 years' experience designing automated equipment.
Specific skills: Knowledge of machine design, experience with geometric tolerancing and engineering drawing practices, self-motivated, detail oriented, ability to work well within a team, exposure to FDA and 3A regulations a plus.
Computer Experience & Software: Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, EPDM, AutoCAD), proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques
- Produce models, assemblies, and detailed drawings using SolidWorks and EPDM
- Development of mechanical and pneumatic subsystems
- Generate Engineering documents including product specifications, bill of materials, and product manuals
- Create or modify plant layouts
- Work with various disciplines within and outside the Equipment, Parts and Service Team
- Interact with outside vendors to source parts
- Transition of 2D AutoCAD drawings to 3D SolidWorks models/drawings
- Quality check incoming parts using various measuring tools
- Other projects and tasks as assigned
