Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Full Stack Developer/Automation Engineer I

The Full Stack Developer/Automation Engineer I position is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing applications published by Konica Minolta's Advanced Technology Solutions (ATS) Automation Team.The ATS Automation Team is a group of multi-disciplinary software engineers who are focused on solving a wide array of diverse business problems through leveraging automation.

In addition to a strong technical background, the ideal candidate should show the ability to think critically, gather information, and problem solve in a team environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a team that takes ownership and pride in its work and is dedicated to utilizing the best aspects of the agile development philosophy. As a member of a highly visible and growing team, the successful candidate will be able to significantly influence the differentiation and success of Konica Minolta's Managed IT services in an ever-changing marketplace.

Essential Job Functions
  • Helps to refine the design and specifications for new services to support the business
  • Develops technical implementations based on these designs and specifications
  • Writes documentation for implementation and operational use
  • Develops training material for employees and/or customers related to various services under development
  • Participates in the agile development process
  • Engages or leverages other subject matter experts or areas of the organization when appropriate
  • Upholds a strong ethic for systems management that leverages a holistic approach that considers the impact to the entire organization
  • Drives toward solutions that support automation and self-service
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills And Abilities)
  • Thirst for learning and mastering new technologies
  • Understanding of microservices architectures, multitenancy, federated identity, role-based access control, and cloud native architecture patterns
  • Experience working on teams leveraging Agile development frameworks such as Scrum
  • Interest in building and growing with software throughout its lifecycle
  • Strong initiative and passion for making a difference
  • Strong business acumen and a drive toward business growth
  • Discipline to work remotely and communicate clearly
Technical Experience Which Would Differentiate a Candidate
  • Experience with both front-end and back-end web development
  • Experience developing event-driven microservices which utilize event sourcing and/or CQRS
  • Experience working with containerized microservice infrastructures utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure services (particularly compute, storage, and messaging)
  • Experience integrating with a variety of different kinds of APIs (gRPC, REST, etc.)
  • Experience working with a variety of databases (SQL, Document, Graph, etc.)
  • Experience with shell scripting and/or Microsoft PowerShell
  • Experience developing for and/or administering a variety of operating systems
Experience, Educational Reqts And Certifications
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience developing and maintaining applications which leverage modern, object-oriented back-end frameworks and/or single-page front-end frameworks
  • Experience developing software collaboratively using version control and automated CI/CD
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in a progression of automation or software engineering roles
