Platform Staffing Group, an STA Group company is currently seeking a Business Analyst for our direct client with locations in Indianapolis, IN & Johnston, IA. This can be remote if candidate lives 50+ miles away from either office location otherwise 2 das remote 3 days onsite.
DUTIES: Facilitate the definition and development of stories with the product owner and SMEs to meet the business needs. Facilitate business process mapping and business stakeholder requirement gathering sessions. Write requirements in the form of user stories.
Ensures stories and acceptance criteria are appropriately defined & documented. Maintain product backlog and refines stories every sprint. Work with Product Owner to address any conflicting business needs Document detailed functional requirements, business rules, and reviews test cases.
Document detailed non-functional requirements. Identify dependencies on other teams and collaborates and communicates timely and effectively. Agile/Scrum experience Design, write and execute test cases to meet acceptance criteria for new functionality, enhancements, and defect repairs Experience writing SQL to query and validate test results in a database Strong communication, documentation, planning and decision making skills Bachelor's Degree COMPETENCIES: Backlog management in JIRA/TFS Basic SQL Experience using Confluence Microsoft Office Process mapping Backlog story writing Interpersonal communication Follow us on Twitter @PLATSTAFFJOBS Platform Staffing Group, an STA Group Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
