NA Sales: Sales Engineer

Primary Objective

  • Ensure a strong fit with Kantar's service offerings and our clients marketing challenges across a variety of s olution including brand strategy/guidance, creative, media, and analytics

Essential Responsibilities

  • T rusted advisor and subject matter expert to both internal teams and customer partners ; shar es insights and findings to help clients improve their business and social intelligence needs

  • Run s in-depth explanations that highlight Kantar's value proposition as well as uncover and demonstrate compatibilities

  • Delves into the client 's business challenges and processes, and identif ies any opportunities, risks, or issues that need to be considered during the sales process

  • With Sales, lead the qualification of opportunities for Kantar's leadership for resource allocation and planning purposes


  • Partner s with sales reps in scoping out how Kantar will be used within the prospect's organization, in particular mapping out use cases, partners, proposal strategy

  • Assist the New Logo s ales team with closing large accounts and the Core Account sales team with cross - selling to existing accounts

  • Collaborates with s ales reps to develop proposals and develop pricing strategies

  • C reate s best in class training materials to scale your knowledge across the Sales team

  • Understanding key value propositions to a variety of partners within an organization, from Director level staff to the CMO


  • Plan s and implements proof of concepts and technical validations, ensuring that all partners are engaged and informed throughout the process

  • Keep s internal partners (Solutions Delivery and Client Management t eams) informed and involved throughout the process, ensuring that momentum is maintained with the client, and next steps are clearly defined

  • Ensur es a thorough handover of the client to the team responsible for onboarding and implementation

Essential K nowledge & E xperience

  • 10+ years' experience as a solution delivery or client delivery lead in any of the following areas: brand strategy, brand guidance, creative and media measurement services, marketing analytics

  • Demonstrated experience deliver ing technical demonstrations in an engaging way. D raw s on examples and insights to highlight the value of the product and the benefit it will bring to the client

  • Track record present ing a technical subject matter to a diverse range of partners (technical and non-technical) with e xperience tailor ing content based on the audience

  • Ability to interpret a wide-range of information and use findings to draw conclusions and design scalable and expandable solutions

  • Self-motivated with relentless energy to find new opportunities in effectively helping clients with real-world business benefits


  • Ability to ask thoughtful questions that result in meaningful insights, probes in a way that leads people to step outside their approach, unearths difficulties and elicit new ideas

  • T enacious personality and endless curiosity to what more can be done for our clients and the solutions we provide

  • Highly motivated, self-starter, driver of change and transformation

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

The salary range for this role in the US is $ 1 39,100 -2 31,8 00/yea r. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
