Are you looking for a role you'll succeed in? We are needing an ambitious, detail oriented, and creative employee, with proven experience working with streaming data and concurrency. Do you want to showcase your developer skills and technical expertise? We will enable you to deliver high-quality end-to-end software solutions quickly and optimally in OpenText (primarily) within the Financial Industry.
Work-Mode: This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings.
Responsibilities:
Analyze product requirements and translate them into detailed system functionality by working with internal organizations and/or clients
Design and implementation of the overall application
Perform hands-on code development and delivery and ensure that coding standards, patterns and approaches are appropriate, consistent and of high quality
Develop test data and performs the unit testing ensuring that the programs perform according to program specifications
Demonstrated knowledge or experience in software implementation lifecycle
Self-starter, motivated, with strong preference to work in team environment
Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience.
5+ years working experience in Opentext (previously known as Exstream)
2+ Experience with Perl & Linux Scripting
6+ years of experience in software development
Experience working on Unix/Linux is a plus
Experience with Perl scripting is a plus
A solid grasp of a variety of technologies that include Windows Servers & Clients, Active Directory, Microsoft business applications (including O365), Networking, Databases and knowledge of software industry relating to varying aspects of OpenText solutions.
Strong knowledge and understanding of enterprise software deployment on-premise and in the cloud
Proven experience in the design, development, testing and integration of high complex software solutions
Should have strong communication skills
Should possess experience working in a team-oriented group
Experience working in the financial industry is a plus
