Purchasing Specialist and Business Analyst

FoxTrot Aviation Services is seeking a hardworking and aspirational team member to join FoxTrot's staff in a hybrid role (3 days in office/2 remote). The home office is located in Canton, Ohio. FoxTrot is growing at 65% per year, so flexibility and a desire to grow is vital for this position.

The role is responsible for efficient and effective Purchasing

• Procure supplies for 17 locations.
  
• Work with vendors to get discounted pricing.
  
• Work directly with vendors to procure specialty supplies for significant jobs such as ceramic coating, Permagard or the interior projects.
  
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise within the supply chain (Product issues, shipping delays or product shortages)
• 
  Monitor budgets for each location to ensure compliance.
  
• Ship items locally from the FoxTrot office
• 
  Establish supply budgets for new locations and ensure the team stays within budget.
  
• Procure all supplies for new locations.
  
• Work with the implementation team to ensure all items have arrived and the location is ready to start.

The role is responsible for Low Cost yet Effective Travel Coordination and Booking

• Optimize cost and itinerary when ordering travel for all Foxtrot personnel outside of Senior Leadership.
  
• Manage travel budgets to ensure the team stays within compliance
• 
  Produce detailed itineraries to send to the traveler.
  
• Assist with delays, cancellations, or rebooking.
  
  • Expect 1 to 2 nights per month of afterhours work; helping team members in need is a top priority for all of us at FoxTrot.

The role is responsible for Form Creation, Bookkeeping, and a few other odds and ends

• Generate new forms using the JotForm application
  
• Create monthly memo reports to recap all the memos and SOPs that were sent that previous month.
  
• File completed SOP's.
  
• Track and manage the audit schedule
• 
  Generate work email accounts for new employees.
  
• Troubleshoot any issues regarding an employee's email account.
  
• Present quality wins weekly at the commercial IDS meeting.
  
• Record all expenses on the Financial Pulse Sheet
• 
  Mark off incoming Payments as paid in QuickBooks
• 
  Code all expenses from Divvy and Credit Cards in QuickBooks
• 
  Ensure all Divvy transactions have been completed with a receipt.
• 
  Produce, edit, and distribute Foxtrot's monthly newsletter, F.A.N.
  
• Coordinate with other leadership team members to acquire all pertinent information required for F.A.N's production.

The Purchasing Specialist and Business Analyst reports to FoxTrot's Office Administrator.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or experience in supply chain, business management or accounting preferred
• 
  Basic knowledge of QuickBooks and accounting principles preferred
• 
  Excellent MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel abilities
• 
  First rate, rapid communication during business hours, and availability after business hours in case of emergencies
• 
  Willingness to learn new software
• 
  Previous experience in the janitorial services a plus
  
• Due to airport badging requirements, the candidate must also:
• 
  Pass a basic background check
• 
  Passing a drug screening
