As a member of the Repatha Consumer Marketing team, the Patient Experience, Senior Marketing Manager reports into the Repatha Consumer Marketing Director and is responsible for owning the evolution of the patient experience making it easy, personalized and seamless. The Senior Marketing Manager will play a critical role in evolving a multi-channel adherence strategy by improving the execution behind our patient support programs, and developing new creative, patient tools, and messaging. This individual will also be responsible for expanding our Hispanic patient support offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and own the CRM experience for patients from consideration to adherence

  • Evolve and lead the point of care strategy and execution for paid and owned experiences

  • Lead the multichannel adherence strategy & execution including assets across email, social, point of care & SMS

  • Manage patient support programs, analyze performance and drive recommendations for optimizations

  • Consultant on media planning & performance to support long term adherence

  • Evolve conversation tools to drive improved patient/physician discussion

The preferred location for this position is Amgen's US Headquarters in Thousand Oaks, CA, however this position can also be done remotely if the individual is willing to work business hours in the PST zone.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Master’s degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

Associate’s Degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Or

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or business experience in a role aligned with a Marketing/Sales commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading or being a part of a cross-functional project team, particularly with market/patient access teams and digital operations

  • Confidence in working with various levels of staff

  • Self-starter, ability to work under limited supervision and coordinate multiple projects in a detail-oriented environment

  • Advanced skills and familiarity with digital strategy and execution, particularly in CRM

  • Strong project management skills, lead and run projects from concept to completion in a matrix and, at times, ambiguous environment

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly and successfully present information

  • Quick learner, proactive, takes initiative, goal oriented and results driven

  • Experience with point of care/point of sale marketing

  • Collaborative teammate with an ability to motivate and influence other

  • Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed environment
