What You will Do
In the role, you will develop and own strategy for transforming the processes and tools used by Johnson Controls North America Field to source materials and services.
Major Areas Of Responsibility Will Include
Bachelor s Degree in a relatable field in business or finance required
MBA would be preferred
Minimum 10 years' experience in HVAC, Engineering, large manufacturing or multi-industry global organization
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated ability in a Strategic Sourcing, Program Management, or Finance role
Experience and qualification working as a transactional process 6 sigma black belt highly desirable
Experience leading ERP implementation with procurement or finance focus also desired
Experience working in a construction or service industry
Capability and presence suitable for communicating with Senior Executive level leadership

What You will Do
In the role, you will develop and own strategy for transforming the processes and tools used by Johnson Controls North America Field to source materials and services.
Major Areas Of Responsibility Will Include
- Lead the team of program managers assigned to North America Field procurement initiatives
- Be the subject matter expert on procurement transactional processes and systems used across JCI North America field
- Represent the business requirements of North America Field in the development of the Enterprise Procurement Strategy
- As procurement workstream leader for the North America field ERP transformation, you will plan for resource requirements, represent procurement as a member of the project leadership team, and coordinate across the enterprise procurement team to accomplish procurement deliverables.
- Ensure that the key objectives of the Enterprise Procurement Strategy are supported through the design and rollout of Oracle Fusion as well as other system and process changes
- Identify short-term opportunities and lead efforts to streamline and standardize purchasing transactional processes prior to Oracle Fusion implementation
- Work with legal counsel, EHS leaders, and the operations and commercial teams to understand current areas of unacceptable risk exposure related to subcontractors and field material suppliers and build strategies to mitigate risk to acceptable levels.
- Along with leaders from finance and operations, lead urgent problem solving and process improvement efforts related to Procure to Pay Process
- Throughout all the above efforts, find the right point of balance between managing risk to the Enterprise and ease of use for our employees and third-party suppliers
