ComTech & Entertainment On Demand (Austin, TX)

Entertainment On Demand (EOD) is the fast-growing video and music streaming panel service from Kantar s ComTech team, part of the Worldpanel division. Covering Entertainment and Technology sectors, it is the largest syndicated panel of its kind in the world, collecting information via over 2 million interviews per year from nationally representative samples in more than 20 countries. It is being used by leading global Technology and Entertainment companies such as Apple, Samsung, Google, Amazon and HBO.

Entertainment On Demand (EOD), like telecoms, offers a simple, independent and accurate consumer behavior measurement to companies in the EOD sector, helping them to understand more about their target consumers and to work smarter with their respective partners. Following a substantial client win and rapid global market expansion plans, we are now building on our infrastructure to service and support our growing client base in this sector.

We have an exciting role opening for a dedicated Client Executive to join our team, providing support to the client team lead. Kantar offices are based in Downtown Austin, opposite the world-famous Texas Capitol building with many food spots and recreational facilities close by. While this role is formally office based, there is flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Work on large project briefs with the account team, using your analytical expertise to identify and deliver useful insights.

  • Help our clients to deliver against their strategy and business objectives adding extra value whenever possible.

  • Ensure continuation of best-in-class servicing to client accounts with a view to maintaining excellent review scores e.g. day to day servicing, data accuracy, attention to detail, timeliness, proactivity, communication.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with your key client contacts.

  • Learn to build, design and present data in cloud-based data visualization tools such as Power BI.

  • Delivery of presentations internally and externally, and with client workshops.

  • Support the revenue performance of the team by finding opportunities within your client portfolio and looking to exceed revenue target.

  • Hands-on involvement in writing proposals.

  • Create delivery solutions for changing client needs using analytical tools.

  • Potential for travel to clients across the US.

  • This role would benefit from a genuine passion and interest in the tech and entertainment industries, and the convergence of the two.

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • 1-3 years experience in an insight related position either client side or agency side.

  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to create insightful and impactful client centric work.

  • Ability to transform large sets of numbers into insightful story telling.

  • Strong writing skills and ability to write clear and concise findings

  • Confidence to present data & analysis in an easy-to-understand manner to senior audiences.

  • Outstanding client servicing skills with the ability to build relationships, act assertively and challenge when necessary.

  • Strong project management, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Collaboration skills this role will require you to work with a wide range of colleagues across different cultures.

  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness.

  • Proficient at Microsoft programmes: PowerPoint, Excel. The ability to create and locate information in these applications is important. PowerBI experience beneficial, but not necessary.

  • Evidence of a genuine passion and understanding of the Tech and Entertainment Industries.

  • Previous experience in consumer tech, telecoms, e-commerce or video streaming industry beneficial.

  • Demonstrate real curiosity and a willingness to really commit in dealings with your clients

  • An interest in learning an analytical skills with tools such as Power BI

  • Tableau, Power BI etc. experience beneficial

The salary range for this role in the US is
$59,900-$99,100/year. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
