Job Description

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.

Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices. Demonstrates expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects.

6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of financial services software especially in the consumer lending space, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family.

Primary Experience / Competencies:

• Application technical design and architecture
• Transaction processing design
• Consumer Lending and Leasing business knowledge
• Business requirement analysis, solution design and product configuration
• Extensive experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming
• Experience in Financial Industry (consumer lending is a plus), knowledge of financial services products and related accounting and regional business practices
• Analyze application data structures and understand application APIs for conversion
• Manage application migration mock runs and design migration verification reports as required
• Analyze application performance and provide tuning recommendations
• Use Explain Plan, Oracle hints, indexes etc. to improve the performance of SQL statements
• Hands-on experience in Oracle ADF and / or Hands-on experience in design, development and deployment of REST APIs/SOAP APIs with XML.
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing different Integration Patterns, Working knowledge of variety of Integration patterns
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Primary Technical skills (2 or more areas)

• SQL / PL SQL, ADF, BIP, Fusion, J2EE Application, XML, MQ , SOAP, REST API / Web services, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Working knowledge and familiarity with development tools like Eclipse , My Eclipse, Oracle JDeveloper

Secondary Skills:

• Design/Development on Oracle WebLogic / SOA Suite/ OSB/OWSM, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Design/Development of Kafka producer/consumer applications, Kafka cluster setup, Kafka APIs
• LINUX/UNIX
• Javascript/HTML

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

New York City Pay Range: from $90,600 to $182,400 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Colorado Pay Range: from $90,600 to $172,800 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.
