Job Description

For nearly 100 years, Table Talk Pies has been a family-owned bakery located in the Worcester, Massachusetts area. Originally established in 1924 by Mr. Theodore Tonna and Mr. Angelo Cotsidas, they set out to ensure they were providing the best quality of product that all customers can enjoy. With three manufacturing locations (two in Worcester, MA and one in Shrewsbury, MA), Table Talk Pies utilizes state of the art equipment and highest quality of ingredients in every pie coming out of our facilities ensuring the best quality in our product meets our strict standards for all consumers to tastefully enjoy.


Summary
Responsible for assisting Senior Management to drive revenue, maximize efficiency and profitability,
and optimize relationships across the Table Talk ecosystem. This includes developing internally and
externally focused reporting to meet the needs of different constituencies. This position reports to the
CFO. The position will work cross-functionally in support of key strategic projects with Senior
Management such as pricing, SKU/brand rationalization, customer/category/ operations opportunities,
in-depth analysis related to costs, labor, margins, and sales performance. Ad hoc reporting for internal
and external business cases, annual planning, and miscellaneous Sales, Operations, and Finance
Leadership needs. Lead process development and/or improvement, including identifying and
implementing best practices.


Weekly Activities and Responsibilities
Monitors and reports on sales data
Maintains and updates customer pricing
Tracks and reports KPI's to the organization (daily/weekly production, sales, retention, etc.)
Tracks and reports daily labor: actual vs. earned, average wage, costs WTD, MTD, QTD
Reviews staffing levels - schedules vs. approved standards
Ingredient Usage Reporting: compare label weights, internal specs, quality documents and BOM
Package Material Usage Reporting
Ad hoc reporting and analyses as required


Qualifications for Sales Operations Manager
Demonstrated success in financial modeling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Data-driven mindset
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred, Power BI a plus
Familiarity with databases, automation or business intelligence preferred
Passion for and interest in the food industry

Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts, Business, Operations Management, or related field
Computer savvy with experience using various ERP, planning, and reporting systems including
Microsoft NAV, AX, 365, Oracle, Salesforce, NetSuite, Walmart Retail Link
EDI experience a plus
