Job Description
I have a client located in Dallas, TX that has fulltime direct hire opportunity for a Civil Designer. If you or anyone you know is qualified or interested in the position listed below, please click “Apply Now”
As the Civil Designer, you will be responsible for production of detailed plans for roadways, drainage, utilities, and land/site development projects.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, 10+ years of civil design experience, specifically civil site design and preparing construction plan plans including roadway, site, drainage, and utility plan preparation.
- Proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, GEOPAK/OpenRoads, and Autodesk Civil 3D is strongly preferred.
- Must have the ability to work permanently in the U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Land development and civil engineering design of residential subdivisions and commercial sites.
- Daily use of knowledge in municipal zoning and land ordinances.
- Usage of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Civil 3D for civil drafting and design:
- Design of water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, paving, and grading improvements for the project.
- Design grading, erosion control, sanitary sewer, water, storm sewer, and roadways.
