Archer is an aerospace company based in Palo Alto, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers for 60 miles at speeds of up to 150 mph while producing minimal noise.

What You'll Do
- Place lithium ion batteries in test fixtures and connect to test stations
- Execute battery tests as instructed
- Enter data into data management system as instructed
- Perform mechanical and electrical measurements according to SOPs
- Support failure review efforts
- Regular maintenance of testing equipment, thermal chambers, vacuum pumps
What You Need
- 3+ years of experience in battery testing within engineering or manufacturing industry
- Experience successfully conducting tests according to SOPs
- Safety working mindset
- Ability to read and monitor data
- Good communication skills to report issues clearly and effectively
- HS Diploma or GED
Bonus Qualifications
- Associate degree in engineering
- Experience in Battery Manufacturing
- Experience in handling lithium ion batteries
- Experience working with battery testing machines such as Maccor, Arbin and Neware
- Passion for aviation and eVTOLs
