Contributes to divisional/functional goals, priorities, and orchestrates all types of communications/branding according to global communications frameworks.
Supports internal stakeholders with any upcoming communications requirements and aligns the demand and frequency with corporate communications activities globally for optimal orchestration.Job Duties
Manage the internal stakeholder demand and develop targeted approaches and storylines according to the defined goals.
Stakeholders include the divisional/functional management but also their sub-function layers, business units or strategic project leads.
Create and manage communications within a global function or division to ensure ideal messaging, information cascading, engagement, and exposure to mainly internal audiences.
Apply the global communications framework, make use of best practices, communication toolboxes, and collaborate with corporate communications for optimal orchestration of divisional/functional communication.
Apply an exciting media mix across all communications channels, and always consider the audience's requirements, preferences to support the change in the culture we are aiming for, maintain an outside-in view.
Produce all assets in a timely and precise manner, making the best use of the available talents and services, and facilitate strong collaboration across regions.
Assets can include but not limited to town halls & round tables, news & posts, events, video or photo productions, surveys & polls, and Yammer administration.
Monitor conducted measures with appropriate KPIs.
Work closely with the global communications team, for any external opportunities to obtain thought leadership, coverage and reach with relevant stakeholders through PR, social media or speaking opportunities.
Directly manage specific projects and programs, as assigned.
Work with executive sponsors, business partners, regional teams, and subject matter experts to define prioritization, risks, and constraints pertaining to communication strategy.
Facilitate project communication meetings.
Provide presentations and reports on projects and initiatives.
Manage internal and external vendor relationships, including contract initiation and amendments, PO and budget, and vendor performance.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.Job RequirementsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, economics, Communication/Media, Arts, Public Relations (PR), or equivalent required.
Minimum 7 plus years of experience in Communications, ideally in a global or national communications environment, versed in internal communications, engagement & change.
Domestic and International, 25% as necessary.
Flexible working hours across multiple time zones, due to the Global nature of this role.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in a medical device, life sciences or another highly regulated industry is preferred.
Knowledge FDA QSR's, ISO 13485, ISO 14971 is preferred.
Experience working and managing outside consultants.
Experience in a B2B environment, ideally in healthcare.
Editorial skill, knowledge of agenda-setting, and passion for storytelling.
Strong ability to drive stakeholders and effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, considering their requirements and goals.
Able to act with strong empathy, agility, and a hands-on mentality, yet with a strong drive for results.
Strategic in discussion and decision-making, data- and insights-driven.
