CAD Drafter

Terra-Petra is searching for experienced CAD Drafters for a fast-growing, fast paced environmental engineering company located in Downtown Los Angeles.

Position Summary:

CAD Drafter with mid-level experience in Architectural, Structural and/or Plumbing design documentation.

Position Responsibilities:

• Create and/or modify site plans, construction documents, details and specifications of VIMS (vapor intrusion mitigation) systems
• Design components under the guidance of engineers and/or project managers
• Address all agency/internal comments and incorporate into drawings
• Set up and manage documents/files used to create plan-sets
• Accountable for the successful completion of drafting and design tasks as assigned under limited supervision and guidance (once trained)

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• 2-3 years experience in CAD modeling and documentation
• Highly self-motivated, a willingness to make a difference and learn
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with different engineering team members
• Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, Word etc.
• This position requires ability to export documents
• An understanding of Architectural and Engineering Construction and Design concepts is a must
• Ability to produce high quality design documents
• Attention to detail is a must

Preferred Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Associates degree in CAD
• Experience drafting environmental or geotechnical drawings
• Revit 3D experience
• An experience and understanding of Plumbing Design and construction

• Offering competitive pay based on skill set. $25-$32/hour
