HOW YOU LL HELP EVERYONE PET PARENT LIKE A PRO

• Reporting to the General Manager of GoodFriend, this role works alongside the GoodFriend Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to create the most effective and feature-rich business management platform for professional pet care businesses.
• This role is accountable for PetExec s financial management and goals, strategy development, team management, and platform execution. You will collaborate with the GoodFriend GM to provide vision and operational leadership.
• You will oversee collaborative partnerships across Kinship s functional areas of product, UX, marketing, and engineering, to properly advocate for PetExec customers and to test and validate new & innovative ideas in the pet care space.
• You will lead the delivery of the financial plan, and importantly you ll continue to develop a growth-oriented culture, and a highly proficient sales and marketing team.
• You ll bring strong expertise in SaaS business management, and new and innovative ideas to further enrich and develop the platform.
• And you will be the leader of a highly talented group of associates, bringing to life our culture and purpose daily. Depending how you choose to shape the team you ll have direct oversight of 5-10 roles including marketing, sales, and customer support.
• In collaboration with your partners in product and engineering, you will be accountable for the end-to-end performance of PetExec.

• You practice breakthrough thinking managing with vision, purpose, and strategic agility

• You ll have strong financial acumen, able to effectively manage a P&L and make investment choices
• An understanding of small business owner needs, and pet industry experience would be a plus
• You ll have experience in developing and leading diverse teams
• As a people leader, you are decisive, but you also empower your team. You bring high energy and fast-paced performance culture. You nurture and build talent.
• As a business leader in our coalition you bring a mindset and experience of integration and collaboration you are open to partnership.
• You will have proven business leadership in roles such as Director of Product, Director of Marketing, or General Management, preferably +5 years of experience in a leadership role.
• Experience in SaaS platforms, preferably those that support SMBs.
• Similarly, experience in platform business models will set you up for success.
• You want to make a better world for pets, and you know how you might play a role in this.
