Description:
Must have completed a minimum of 5 successful Business Intelligence projects
Must have at least 10 years overall IT experience.
Minimum 10 years of OBIEE and 3+ years Power BI Development experience
Technical Requirements
The preferred resource will have to be skilled in following:
a. Oracle OBIEE
b. Tableau
c. Power BI
d. ETL technologies like (Oracle Data Integrator/Informatica/ etc.)
e. Data Modeling
f. Deep knowledge and hands-on expertise with Oracle OBIEE, Oracle Business Intelligence
Applications (OBIA) and data sources like Oracle EBS.
g. Ability to lead a client engagement team through the entire life cycle of a BI project.
h. Ability to facilitate the collection of key requirements and customer needs for an overall BI
solution.
i. Ability to lead the preparation of a conceptual design for an overall BI solution.
j. Ability (based on experience) to lead the design and implementation of a BI solution using
leading BI technology vendors including Oracles OBIEE, e-Business suite (EBS), Essbase,
etc.
k. Ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment.
l. Exceptional understanding of data integration tools within targeted industries.
m. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
n. Microsoft products including SQL, SharePoint, etc.
o. Experience in meta-data management and data integration engines.
p. Knowledge of the entire software development process from design through deployment.
q. Proven analytical and problem-solving traits.
r. Knowledge of the design, development, and maintenance of various data models and their
components.
s. Understanding of BI tools and technologies as well as the optimization of underlying relational and multi-dimensional databases.
