Today, Johns Hopkins Sibley Memorial Hospital has opportunities on our acclaimed radiology team for individuals who wish to work on the cutting-edge of imaging software and protocols - using evidence-based practices to guide patient care. Here, you'll work in a team-centered culture with dedicated tech educators for your modality to provide ongoing development and unwavering support. As you ensure the proper positioning and scanning of patients, you will also contribute to our commitment to community-based care, healthcare equity, and improved outcomes.
Assists the radiologist with all invasive procedures to include use of all Special Procedures radiographic equipment/devices and patient monitoring devices. Monitors vital signs for all patients requiring conscious sedation within the department (excluding MRI). Maintains patient records and database to monitor outcome and quality of care. Maintains emergency equipment and medication trays with the department. Maintains adequate stock levels of required supplies for the Special Procedures Suite: Performs general diagnostic work as required.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Special Procedures Certification preferred.
Current CPR certification.
Shift: 4 - 10 hour shifts - 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
