JOB SUMMARY

777 Partners is seeking to hire a Senior Financial Analyst to join one of our portfolio companies, Insurety Capital, based in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate must be comfortable using spreadsheets to analyze financial data, spot trends, and develop forecasts. The successful team member will also be adept at making recommendations, and preparing on-boarding-related presentations, training, and reporting materials.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data including budgets, income statement forecasts, and reporting and analysis.

  • Financial modeling to analyze large data-sets and structure insurance commission financing deals.

  • Assist accounting and capital markets teams with the preparation of monthly management reporting dashboards.

  • Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks

  • Develop financial models, conduct bench-marking and process analysis.

  • Liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure processes are adhered to.

  • Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models.

  • Identify trends, advise company and recommend actions based on sound analysis

  • Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data

  • Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making

  • Prepare financial reports, charts, tables and other exhibits as requested

  • Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use during the planning processes, ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review.

  • Demonstrate appropriate understanding/working knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles and internal controls.

  • Describe an insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business area partners and management to drive business results.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or scientific subject such as economics, finance, accounting, mathematics, progress toward CFA, CPA preferred

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in a client facing role within insurance, private equity, financial services, investment banking, capital markets or other related field.

  • Must have excellent skills in MS Excel.

  • Financial modeling expertise, preference towards successful training program

  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office.

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive intra-department and cross-functional working relationships.
