Job Description
Stepan Company is seeking an International Transportation Planner to join our Logistics team in Northbrook, IL. In this role, you will report to the North America Import Export Operations Manager.
The International Transportation Planner plans, coordinates and schedules air and ocean shipments for internal and external customers to meet company, customer and customs shipping requirements, while maintaining regulatory compliance and striving to meet service and cost optimization objectives.

Qualifications
Hazmat General Awareness Training Certificate required
Chemical Industry Experience preferred
Ability to balance multiple priorities and manage time appropriately
Knowledge of ocean and drayage carrier operations
Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships
Excellent attention to detail
Creative problem-solving skills
Motivated to drive continuous improvements
Education
Bachelor's Degree preferred
