The Retail Facilities Manager will lead, oversee, and manage large projects from solution build through execution and completion of projects. They are responsible for the ongoing facility maintenance of a portfolio of retail stores and maintaining good relationships with the various entities involved in the day-to-day facility operations at each location. These entities include store management, landlords, the internal real estate department, and vendors, to name a few.


Essential Duties And Responsibilities


  • Define and develop solutions to support facility services and administer the distribution, management and completion of all facility repair services
  • Monitor, track and evaluate the work performance of all vendors to ensure they perform according to the contracted standards, due dates and cost restraints
  • Responsible for the work order flow for all retail work requests
  • Take appropriate and timely action when vendors fail to meet their obligations
  • Maintain a professional business relationship by directly and indirectly negotiating contracts and matters pertaining to facilities services
  • Resolve facility problems amicably and effectively
  • Maintain all stores to the SLA set by HFT management
  • Develop annual maintenance schedules, plans and budgets
  • Budgetary responsibilities including expense control and essential contributor in budget development
  • Manage material handling equipment program including repair decisions and lease management
  • Work collectively with Real Estate to address Landlord repair items in a timely manner
  • Perform routine and documented inspections of stores assigned. Review results of these inspections with the store manager and summarize finding with senior management
  • Maintain operating and capital retail budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility
  • Be on call during non-business hours to support store needs
  • Other duties as assigned



RequirementsQualifications - Education And Experience


  • 7-10 years of Retail Facilities Management
  • Financial analysis experience is a plus
  • Ability to set priorities effectively
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills
  • Proven experience in facilities outsourcing
  • Understanding of facility maintenance practices
  • Knowledge of current trends in the field
  • Excellent communicator
  • Refined critical thinking skills
  • Excellent time management and planning skills, organized with the ability to multitask, exceptional follow up skills and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to make decisions quickly, based upon a combination of analysis, experience, wisdom and judgment

General Office Environment Requiring Ability To


  • Requires incumbent to stand, walk, bend, squat climb, kneel, twist and work at heights on an intermittent basis for eight hours a day
  • Hand manipulation including simple grasping, power grasping, pushing and pulling of materials and fine manipulation
  • Reach and work above and below the shoulder level is frequently performed on a continuous basis for as many as five hours a day.
  • Lift and carry items weighing 25lbs or less on a frequent basis throughout the day
  • Lift and carry items weighing between 25 - 75lbs pounds on an intermittent basis throughout the work week
  • Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone
  • Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. The anticipated salary range for this position is $76,000 - $114,000 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 136 hours per year, including 16 hours of Floating Holidays and paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law. The Company observes 12.5 paid holidays.
