The role you’ll contribute:
- Provides overall direction to the Office of Sponsored Programs to ensure that the mission of the office is being effectively pursued.
- Serves as the Hospital’s authorized Organizational Representative (AOR) and Signing Official (SO), as designated by the Research Executive Leadership, who has institutional authority to legally bind AdventHealth in grants administration matters.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operational matters relative to research infrastructure and services.
- Provides a full range of administrative support to AdventHealth’s Research Enterprise, with primary emphasis in developing and processing grant applications to federal, state and private funding sources, implementing requirements established by AdventHealth, Funder, and Sponsors, and assisting in the acquisition of data required for annual and ad hoc reports, grant monitoring, and other related records.
- Collaborates with investigators and compliance personnel regarding research-related activities (which include, but are not limited to, research audits, investigation, education, etc.) and grants and contract award documents.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or an administration related discipline
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Extensive experience in sponsored accounting, as well as, policy development
- Minimum of seven years of experience in sponsored programs, contracts management, and grants management in a hospital or academic setting
- Experience using spreadsheets, databases, web-based database applications for research and grants management
