About the Role
CaptivateIQ is looking for a Sr. Content Marketing Manager to join our growing Marketing team. This person will create and produce original, thoughtful content pieces that translate our customers challenges into meaningful solutions. You will develop a deep understanding of our industry, our diverse target audience, and bridge our companys offerings to establish ourselves as thought leaders in the space. Determining how to compensate commissionable employees for their efforts and ensuring they have visibility into this complex process is crucial to job satisfaction, team effectiveness, and overall company success.

Responsibilities
- Create the content strategy and produce assets to support the sales pipeline including website content, case studies, ebooks, interactive tools, email nurtures, presentations, ads, events, and more
- Work with stakeholders across the company to identify unique stories about our products, company, customers, and industry.
- Own content measurement which includes tracking how content sources influence pipeline and revenue, and monitoring the performance of created assets
- Keep up with the top of industry trends and news so that we are at the forefront of our space and can continue to educate ourselves and our customers
- Help conduct research with customers, internal leadership, and other available sources to drive content strategy
- Work with our technology partners to pitch blog swaps as co-marketing initiatives
Requirements
- 5-8 years of writing, communications, or marketing experience, preferably in the technology industry
- A degree in communications, journalism or creative writing is a plus
- Strong writer with experience across various content formats (presentations, ebooks, video, infographics, web copy, email, blog posts, customer stories, industry research reports, etc.)
- Demonstrated record of successfully shipping high-quality projects with independence and confidence
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, performance-driven environment
- Aptitude in working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and customer experience
