Shriners Children s, the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center, has an opportunity for a Clinical Research Coordinator I to join our team.

The Clinical Research Coordinator I will be responsible for and/or assist with all aspects of funded clinical research projects including, but not limited to, IRB and regulatory processes, recruitment and consenting of research participants, and data collection and data management. The CRC ensures proper study conduct, participant safety, data quality and data safeguards.


This clinical research position requires the candidate to have one year of research experience in clinical setting. A bachelors degree in a healthcare related or social science field is preferred. Knowledge of clinical research processes, excellent organization and communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to work independently is required. CCRP or CCRC certification preferred.


The ideal candidate is dependable, high energy, detail oriented and exhibits excellent interpersonal skills. A candidate should have skills and knowledge in the following areas planning and time management, Microsoft Office Suite, database data entry, management of multiple, complex competing priorities, ability to multi-task and work as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Experience with children and with patients and families in a clinical setting is a plus.


Current full Covid-19 vaccination status required.
