This job can be supported locally, or you can work remotely.

As a Business Analyst supporting the CDC, you will be trusted to provide specialized support services in a functional area, or coordination of single or multiple functional activities, for Agile software development projects. You may implement pre-specified research or analysis plans; work in a team environment to solve problems; and ensure deadlines are met.

In this role, a typical day will include:

● Collaborating with Product Owners to develop or refine User Stories

● Building and testing web-based and mobile applications

● Exercising user-centric design practices

● Doing usability testing

● User experience design

● Ensuring 508 compliance

● Work on Cloud deployments

● Applying your skills with Agile and Scrum methodologies

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

● Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree and 5+ Years. Experience should include Agile, requirements gathering, User Centered Design, Training, and Communications

● Documented experience working on research or public health specific projects.

● Strong writing and editing skills.

● Ability to provide oversight to a small team.

● The selected applicant will be required to pass a government security investigation to obtain Public Trust
