The role of this position is to participate in the planning, solution development, implementation and support activities related to the integration of systems, applications, and technologies with internal and external (customer) systems.
Proven communication skills, problem-solving skills, proficiency in programming languages and data structures, and knowledge of integration best practices are critical to successful performance in this role.
**This roe is approved to sit 100% remote, working Eastern Standard Time hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:*
- Participate in the planning of integration projects.
- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions within the organization's architectural principles, policies, and guidelines.
- Provide integration environment technical knowledge and experience during the planning, execution, and management of integrating new applications into the existing application environment.
- Identify and resolve system integration issues.
- Assist with problem determination and resolution efforts when operational issues with integration solutions arise.
- Develop documentation to support and facilitate integration projects and initiatives.
- Assist with making recommendations on integration products and services.
- Continually develop skills in integration technologies
- Assist with finding opportunities to enhance or improve business processes via integration, or, as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes.
- Support integration with common 3rd-Party systems, including: Ariba, Oracle Business Network, Maximo, Oracle/Oracle Fusion
- Leverage Azure technology, including: service bus, logic apps, API management, storage, App Services, functional apps, SQL database / TSQL
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 2+ years in software development working with various programming languages and database technologies preferred
- Experience with C#, Web Development, XML, Microsoft SQL Server, Javascript, JSON, HTTP Rest, WebAPI preferred
- Single-page application web development and Azure experience preferred
- A solid understanding of Microsoft OS, .NET framework, Azure preferred
