Provide ongoing oversight and management of the integrations between the financial system and other business technology solutions. Work with other departments to understand the technology solutions, the processes and required data flows for the systems to be effective and efficient. Assist with coordination of business requests for new software tools or changes to provide a consistent process for evaluation and documenting requirements and options for solutions including an evaluation of the security and associated risks.

  • Develop an understating of business unit processes and technology solutions by working with end users to establish how information flows between systems, including timing and month end cutoffs.
  • Understand and document the mapping of key components that integrate between the financial system and other third-party software solutions.
  • Monitor and approve data transfers from one system to another, as required. Ensure that data is mapped and linked appropriately between systems.
  • Manage any automated integration processes between financial systems to confirm that data is synced correctly.
  • Monitor and resolve any data issues between systems by working with internal groups and vendor support.
  • Roadmap planning/consulting with business users in order to configure the system features/functions to fit requirements.
  • Evaluate new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommend appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems by analyzing business processes, systems and industry standards
  • Liaison between the business and vendor support to build and maintain the ongoing relationship and to highlight ways to continually improve the tools available by being aware of new releases or changes in functionality.
  • End User Requests for new software or functionality:
  • Coordinate the requests for software improvements or new technology made by end users to assist in the evaluation of the solution.
  • Work with the business to translate business requirements into technology solution options.
  • Assist the business in developing business cases for proposed technology solutions.
  • Understand the information security implications of technology solutions and assure compliance with company standards.
  • Work with end users to implement standard technology solutions already in place.
  • In conjunction with the business and vendor support, develop robust testing plans that ensure the integration between systems is acceptable. Assist in conducting end user testing related to the integration.

Process related tasks:

  • Work with the business to document and analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for process improvements that create efficiencies and/or cost savings for the business.
  • Make recommendations on process changes and enhancements.
  • Make recommendations on hardware and software tools where necessary


Job Requirements:

  • An undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance (or an Information Technology degree with emphasis on systems and processes) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting preferably working with systems and processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in Yardi, Procore, or Dynamo a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other departments and third-party vendors
