REMOTE: Technical Accounting Manager

We are currently working with a publicly traded CPG company with 30% growth YOY. This position will report into the Director of Financial Reporting, be a sole contributor, and sit on a team of 8 A&F professionals. This will be a fully remote role.

• Facilitate and document results of Purchase Price Accounting ("PPAs") and other valuations with consulted 3rd parties
• Preparation and filing of all SEC reports (Form 10-Qs, Form 10-Ks, Form 8-Ks, Proxy Statements), including draft footnotes, coordinating disclosures with internal departments, and preparation of disclosure checklist to ensure accuracy and timeliness for the Company's SEC filings
• Regularly research and present guidance for all complex transactions while specifically a subject expert in of ASC 480, ASC 350 and entirety of ASC 800.
• Help Director, Financial Reporting with the execution of ongoing external reporting requirements, including but not limited to annual and quarterly financial statements, earnings releases, and MD&A
• Assist with the updating, drafting and maintenance of accounting policies and memos supporting compliance with external reporting
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations and journal entries primarily surrounding, stockholders' equity and non-controlling interests
• Ownership of all equity related items utilized in various reportings and amongst multiple departments.
• Work alongside various departments, legal, investor relations, while assisting in providing and vetting financial information incorporated in both public filings.
• Maintainenace of clear and concise workpapers to support public filings

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, finance or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant designation.
• Public and Private experience.
• 6+ years combination of corporate reporting industry experience and public accounting experience and recent public company experience.
• Big 4 or top tier national public accounting experience preferred.
• Biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
• Experience with technical accounting, research and reporting.
• Advanced understanding of SEC reporting requirements and comprehensive and current understanding of ASC.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley and internal control frameworks.
• Ability to work a hybrid role.
