Position Description


About Us: Emtec is growing and building a world-class digital product engineering sales team to continue to grow our client base. We are currently looking for a dynamic and energetic Sales Executive to focus on hunting new opportunities for our Emtec Digital Services (EDS) business unit.  Emtec Digital focuses on platform engineering and digital product development. Generally clients trust us with their revenue producing and client-facing products.  The keys to success are:  quality, high feature deployment, velocity and stability.  We don't just build a product and leave future problems to another team.  We automate and build with the understanding that we may also be deploying the product in the future.


 


These services and solutions are provided by Emtec's global delivery teams who provide advisory, implementation, integration, and managed services across Microsoft and OpenSource technology stacks:



  • Custom Application Development - .Net, Java, PHP, Python, JS Frameworks like React, Angular etc.

About the Position: We are looking for a Sales Executive to service the North East Coast Region of the United States. We are looking for someone with a solutions-minded approach and background in selling application development and IT services in a global model. We offer a collaborative, modern culture & a great work environment where you will be working with highly skilled teams who are passionate about technology.


 


The Sales Executive will be an individual contributor with the following key responsibilities:



  • Hunting, identifying, and closing new business for IT services

  • Attaining established sales/revenue goals

  • Leveraging our existing full-scale lead generation and proposal building support

  • Collaborating with client account teams to build pipeline and close business

  • Building “client for life” relationships

  • Developing portfolio strategies


Workplace: Open Location, working remotely from home and travelling occasionally when required.


 


Must Have Skills:



  • Experience selling IT Services with a focus on cloud, mobile, social and analytics custom applications development and/or managed services projects which includes:


    • Onshore/offshore solution model

    • Hunting, identifying and closing new business for IT services

    • Ability to leverage our existing full-scale lead generation and proposal building support

    • A proven and consistent track record exceeding quotas ($1-3M) consisting of annual sales and revenue objectives

    • A proven and consistent track record selling to Fortune 1000 and SMB companies


  • At minimum, a Bachelor's Degree

  • Able and willing to travel as needed


Preferred Skills:



  • Established relationships and vertical experience in transport & logistics and/or healthcare

  • Previous experience in application development, platform services


Professional Skills:



  • Strong demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and presentation skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite & Salesforce

  • Ability to navigate and collaborate through complex opportunities
