Server/Bartender

Kaspars is looking to hire an enthusiastic, self-motivated, customer service driven Servers and Bartenders to join our creative team. We are ramping up for the busy season with some fun events.

We are looking for both full and part time staff that are mainly available nights and weekends. The schedule is flexible and you can really 'work when you want' but we do have lots of Saturday shifts available and would like you to be available on many Saturdays. We have some large event dates comeing up that we would prefer you can work, but overall, you can work as little or as much as you want. Its a great, flexible schedule!

You have to be creative, energetic, a rock star multi-tasker and a quick problem solver who loves to be hands-on. Applicants must be great at interpersonal and customer service skills that translate to working with customers, vendors, managers and staff. You must be a 'get it done' kind of person who loves details and organization.

As part of our team, you must have a friendly and energetic personality; be assertive and decisive. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup of events, maintaining timelines and assisting so that events run smoothly.

You will be invited in for professional bar and server training before you begin your event shifts.

Requirements:

• Serving experience
• Bartenders must have bartender experience
• Excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills
• Be a problem solver
• Valid Washington State Driver's License
• Class 12 Alcohol Server Permit, WA Food Handler Card required
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
• Command of the English language both written and verbal
• Excellent written and oral communications skills at focus on customer service and ability to communicate to diverse audiences

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Must have night and weekend availability

The position has great growth potential. Compensation depends on experience and includes, competitive hourly wage, meals. There may an opportunity to include a Simple IRA, health plan, tuition reimbursement and performance based bonuses.
