Subcontract

Description & Requirements Maximus is currently seeking a Director, Subcontracts.

This position will be responsible for overseeing the development, negotiation and execution of all subcontracting activities within Maximus Federal Inc.

In this role, the Director, Subcontracts will facilitate smooth business operations and partnerships.

As a leader, you will manage a team to ensure efficient and effective subcontract management processes.

You will collaborate with internal departments to align contract terms with the company strategies and risk management policies.

This position is remote. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : - Provide authoritative guidance to internal business teams on corporate goals and objectives relating to subcontract activity.

• Review solicitations and prepare specialized and / or non-routine response for proposals. - Work directly with Business Development assisting with the overall procurement approach.


• Analyze significant and / or unique contract requirements, special provisions, terms, and conditions to ensure compliance with appropriate laws, regulations, and corporate policies and business unit procedure, ultimately reducing risk to the company.


• Interact and communicate as appropriate with finance / accounting and business team disciplines, including executive leadership, for kickoff meetings, resolution of subcontract issues, and disputes.


• Monitor performance of subordinates according to established monitoring standards; conduct performance appraisals, make decisions on personnel actions including hiring, firing, and disciplinary action.

Minimum Requirements - Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 10+ years of relevant professional experience required.

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in relevant field of study and 10+ years of related professional experience required.


• Strong experience negotiating and analyzing contract requirements. -Must have strong leaderships skills and experience managing teams.


• Experience developing and implementing procurement strategies. -Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.

Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package.

Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.

Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances. Annual Base Pay Minimum for this Position $ 129,460.
